Farm Stay encourages open discussion and invite you to share your opinions to discuss the topics on Farm Stay. Depending on the sensitivity of the subject matter, we may choose to close commenting function on an individual page. 

All comments in the Farm Stay community must:

• Build upon the topic at hand and not use a post as a springboard to shift topics abruptly
• Show respect to post authors, post subjects and fellow commenters at all times, even if offering a counter point of view
• Never directly attack a poster or commenter with language that is harsh or demeaning
• Engage in the dialogue in the spirit of keeping pets in homes, protecting cats, reaching the underserved and/or increasing adoptions
• Will not use the form to engage in a 1:1 dialogue with post authors or other community members

However, comments containing the following will be deleted and repeat offenders will be blocked from commenting altogether:

• profanity
• misinformation
• spam/off-topic/external links
• promotion of illegal or questionable activities
• promotion of violence, towards animals or humans
• personal attacks on post authors, post subjects or fellow commenters
• references to gender, race, country of origin, religious or sexual orientation of post authors or commenters
• attacks against sheltering/rescue organizations or their staff and volunteers
